STOOD'S MUSIC COMMISSIONS

Hi! I'm Stood, I make electronic music, and you can commission me for a project using the information provided on this website! Please contact me directly if you have any queries not covered here.

Terms of Service

All terms are non-negotiable, and by choosing to commission me, you agree to abide by them at all times.

  1. NO REFUNDS UNLESS THE COMMISSION WAS CANCELLED BY ME.
    I will do my best to follow the project to completion in a timely manner, but if extraordinary circumstances prevent me from doing so, I will grant an offer for a refund for 100% of the transacted (your side!) amount, before fees. (e.g. if a $100 commission cost $110 in total due to fees, I would send back $110, which means you would receive $100 back)

  2. Payment will be done upfront.
    After discussion about the project, I will calculate the price of the commission, and if you agree on it, you can send the payment through and I will start working on the project immediately upon receiving the funds. I may create a short "taster" snippet a few seconds long in length for you before payment, at my own discretion.

  3. DO NOT USE MY WORK IN THE CONTEXT OF, TO TRAIN, OR TO PROMOTE GENERATIVE AI.
    I don't want anything to do with AI generated bullshit. (very very few exceptions, pretty much entirely comprising of vocal synths)

  4. Credit me if you post my music!
    If you make a post on social media containing my music, credit me on either of my Twitter accounts @Stoodarion or @StoodarionMUSIC, or my YouTube channel.

  5. One major revision and unlimited (just don't be stupid) minor revisions allowed.
    A major revision would be something that requires me to restart most or all of the project (after a significant amount of progress), e.g. a change in the genre. You only get one*. A minor revision is any adjustment or change you would like made in the project, like a change in instrument, melody, tempo, etc. I won't put a limit to how many you can give me, I'm just asking you not to be overly nitpicky.

Pricing

Prices are based off of the initial quote that you agree on before I start the project! So if I made the track too long on accident I won't charge you extra, and vice versa if the track is too short (I won't let that happen though.) All prices are in USD.I take payments through PayPal. An invoice will be sent to your selected email for the payment.My rates:
$40 for first 1 minute
$15 for each additional 30 secondsAnything shorter than 1 minute is $40 and anything in between the 30s increments is rounded up to the next increment. (e.g. 1 minute 20 seconds will be priced equally to 1 minute 30 seconds)For each major revision after the 1st, there is a rate of 25% the original price.
e.g. If the original quote was $55 and you wanted a second major revision, an extra charge of $13.75 would be added. A third major revision would also cost an additional $13.75.
